Ivy Tech Marion students know what it means to work for opportunity. The counties we serve have some of the highest generational poverty rates in Indiana, and only 27% of our residents have an education beyond high school. This has created a cycle of food insecurity, childcare deserts, health and addiction issues that impacts our quality of life and economic development. Ivy Tech Marion hopes to break this cycle of hopelessness and defeat. We partner with local employers to ensure our programs produce a well-prepared, employable workforce. We collaborate with area high schools to help students earn stackable credentials for stronger futures.
