Ivy Tech Community College was founded on the strength of the support generously given by leaders in business, government and community organizations throughout Indiana.
To give more students access to meaningful, hands-on job training opportunities, Ivy Tech partners with many companies, foundations, and organizations around the state. Several of these organizations have generously donated gifts in-kind, sponsorships, scholarships, and financial contributions to help Ivy Tech students get the experience they need to succeed in the real world.
Ivy Tech is always looking for partnerships to continue to strengthen local businesses, communities, workforce development and student success.
Meet some of our recent partners:
The demand for nurses and other healthcare professionals is higher than ever. To help keep up with the growing need, Parkview Health in Fort Wayne has opened the Parkview Education Center. The new facility represents a partnership between Parkview Health, Ivy Tech Northeast, and Fort Wayne Community Schools’ Career Academy at Anthis.
Toyota has been a long-time partner with Ivy Tech, and they’ve generously donated more than 50 automobiles to the Automotive Technology Program. These cars help give students practical experience working on brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, suspensions, engines, and more. Toyota also partners with Ivy Tech to help place program graduates in jobs throughout Indiana and beyond.
For many years, Subaru of Indiana has been an important partner with Ivy Tech, both in job placement and through gifts in kind. That recently included twelve car engines and a 2010 Subaru Outback SUV to help students hone their skills as they learn more about repairing automobiles. Subaru of Indiana has also contributed manufacturing equipment and robotics to several Ivy Tech campuses around the state.
Through the decades of Ivy Tech’s growth, businesses and government agencies have formed partnerships with the College and benefited from the mutual sharing of resources, while foundations and charitable organizations have invested in the value of Ivy Tech and its students. Those investments have paid off in the increasing numbers of highly qualified alumni who work and live in every community throughout our State.
