It is time for the annual Ivy Tech Scholarship Golf Outing!
I am excited that you will join us this Friday, March 4 at Raptor Bay Golf Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. Raptor Bay was the first resort course in the world to receive Audubon International’s Gold Signature Sanctuary Certification. We look forward to spending a beautiful day with you in this slice of heaven. Below are final details to prepare you for the outing.
SCHEDULE:
- Group photo at 8:45 a.m.
- Tee off is promptly at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start!

DIRECTIONS:
From North:
From I-75, take Exit 123 (Corkscrew Road) west 2 miles to US-41. Make a left onto US-41. After approximately 2 miles, make a right onto Coconut Road. Follow road 2 miles to Hyatt Regency Resort. Turn right at the stop sign. Proceed 100 feet and turn right. Follow the road 3/4 mile and the clubhouse is the right hand side at the end of the road.
From South:
From I-75, take Exit 116 (Bonita Beach Road) west 2 miles to US-41. Make a right onto US-41. Proceed 6 miles to Coconut Road. Turn left onto Coconut Road and follow the road 2 miles to Hyatt Regency Resort. Turn right at the stop sign. Proceed 100 feet and turn right. Follow the road 3/4 mile and the clubhouse is the right hand side at the end of the road.
CHECK IN & SCHOLARSHIP DONATION: Check in at the Ivy Tech table in the clubhouse before heading down to your cart.
- As a reminder, this is a Scholarship Golf Scramble; we are recommending a $150 minimum donation per player.

BAG DROP:
Drop your bags at the circle drive in front of the clubhouse. They will be tagged and taken to your cart.
PRACTICE:
Practice balls will be available prior to the game; a wonderful driving range is just across the main drive.
RENTAL CLUBS & SHOES:
Rental clubs are available, if needed. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to make onsite arrangements with the Pro Shop staff. There is a $60 club rental fee. (NOTE: New this year, Raptor Bay no longer offers golf shoe rental. Please plan accordingly.)
TIME:
Play will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Please be at the clubhouse no later than 8:45 a.m. for last minute instruction, hole assignments and a group photo!
FORMAT:
We will score as foursomes, Florida Scramble Format.
MULLIGANS:
We will be selling mulligans again this year – (2) for $20. Get them in advance or when you check in at the course. https://connect.ivytech.edu/floridafriends2022
BREAKFAST:
•Coffee will be available in the cart staging area.
•Continental boxed breakfast will be provided on your cart.
LUNCH:
Lunch will be served at Braxton’s at the conclusion of the golf outing. Prizes will be distributed at this time.
WEATHER:
The weather forecast looks great for golf! We expect sunshine and passing clouds with temperatures climbing into the low 80’s. We could have a cool start around 65 degrees so be prepared to shed layers. Don’t forget sunglasses, hats and sunscreen!
