IVY TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES BOARD LEADERSHIP, APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Ivy Tech Foundation today announced it has elected four board members to serve as officers in its mission to create community opportunities while breaking down barriers for students pursuing their education at Ivy Tech Community College. Board leadership will now include chair Lauren Salerno, vice chair Vincent Viveros, treasurer Brian Stater, and secretary Scott Miller.
In addition to leadership elections, the Ivy Tech Foundation appointed Lori Danielson, president and founder of GoTime Coaching LLC; Heather Schoegler, director of strategic partnerships of Parkview Health; and Larry Smith, president and chief executive officer of Fathers and Families, to the Board of Directors.

ABOUT THE BOARD LEADERSHIP
Lauren Salerno is a dedicated community philanthropist. She has served on the Ivy Tech Foundation board as chair of the governance committee and chair of the Circle of Ivy – Women in Philanthropy. Currently, she serves as chair of the Ivy Tech Foundation Board. With over 20 years experience as an attorney and in the technology industry, Lauren has worked for companies across the country, including Lexis-Nexis, Thomson Reuters and Finvi (formerly Ontario Systems). She has focused her skills as a leader in marketing, finance, product management and a number of other cross-functional areas. Lauren’s experience has allowed her to successfully contribute to her passion for philanthropy. She served on many foundation boards and committees focusing on education and healthcare, such as Christamore House Guild, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School board, Eskenazi Health strategic planning committee and St. Vincent Foundation board.
Vincent Viveros is a private client advisor at Charles Schwab Private Client Investment Advisory. Over the last 15 years, he has counseled individuals and families through their most important financial life decisions. Vincent is committed to diversity and inclusion and developing future leaders through mentorship. He also serves on the board of the Escala Foundation.
Brian Stater is the vice president of business development at Bowen Engineering Corporation and has been with the company for nearly 30 years. At Bowen, Brian has been responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, forging strong relationships and driving growth. His expertise extends to all aspects of the water and wastewater construction industry. Brian also serves as the finance committee chair.
Scott Miller brings a wealth of experience in economic development and nonprofit leadership to the Ivy Tech Foundation board. His commitment to community service is evident through his roles in various organizations. He has served as the board chair for Greater Grant County and has chaired the Grant County YMCA. Scott is also committed to mentoring young men to pursue excellence as the boys varsity basketball coach at Providence Cristo Rey High School. Scott also serves as the governance committee chair.
